They feel around the same speed wise but the power band is different. The RS's power was a bit more linear. I also put a AFE power module on the RS which really helped bump up the power and feel. I will be buying the same module for the Type R. AFE makes great products!

I don't believe that for a second. MSRP, sure, but I haven't seen anybody credibly claim to have paid less, let alone several thousand less.
I removed the red stripe on my PMM and highly recommend it. Think it looks much better without.

Yeah. I think I'll rip it off but keep the existing tape on a roll of sorts so I could match it up to some aftermarket striping (unlikely I would need to but...) just in case. It does look cleaner without though
Doesn't aFe just trick the ECU to boost more...and not correct A/F, etc?
