RV6 Performance Catless Downpipe Sound Clip

Sound demo of RV6 catless downpipe on a 17 Civic Hatchback Sport. The remainder of the exhaust is stock, as well as the intake. The engine was already warm when I recorded the video. I hit the 2 step rev limiter (Ktuner) at one point (notice the slight puff of smoke) at about 4500 RPMs. Since I did not disable this I was not able to rev higher than that in this video. Yes the car is filthy and it will stay that way until it stops raining this week.

Dare I say I hear a hint of the turbocharger?

You can hear it but it's far from loud. It is "noticeable" as compared to the basically silent stock exhaust. I wish I would have taken a "before" video ahead of time but I did not have the GoPro then.

Do you need a custom tune for this? I'm currently doing an etune with Vit and wondering if I can install this during the process or do I have to wait until the tune is done?

A tune is a must if you want to get the most out of it

Update:

I have another 115 or so miles on it since the CEL was cleared and it has not returned. RV6 has also advised me that the de-fouler is adjustable and that I can likely adjust it to make sure it never comes back.

do you smell any exhaust gas in the cabin with catless? also, how's the eibach sportlines so far? thinking about lowering my 2018 Si but not sure if I should go with D2 or eibach

Exhausts does smell both in cabin and out but it smells amazing lol no joke

No not kidding you'd be surprise to how good it smells. If you want less smell go catted or else don't change the cat at all.
