Window Trim Peeling

The black trim is peeling and curling up like cheap bacon above my door windows.

Has anyone else had this issue? Pretty crappy for a 7 month old car if you ask me.

Luckily Honda is covering it under warranty, took a week of sitting at the dealership to get approved along with transmission repairs though.

Pics would be helpful.

If you are referring to the plastic wrapped window mouldings. I had the same issue from day one. Took into my local dealer for first complimentary service and they replaced all four trims even though only two had started to peel up.

I had 1 trim piece that was peeling from day 1, replaced no problem.
Evo sure is having a lot of problems..

I have the same issue with my windows behind the rear doors. Was at the honda dealer to check other gen10 cars. Same crap there.

Interesting - I've had this same issue on mine, but glad to hear others are getting it taken care of.

I plan to take it in.

Any pic? OP @evo_dwn - what was your tranny issue? Did the dealer get it fixed?

Here's what mine looks like. I also just did a close walkaround and see my rear bumper is sagging a bit and the tip of my passenger tail light has been rubbing paint away at the front corner. Cosmetic issues

I saw the same thing on a used 2017 I was looking at with 17k miles. The trim on all 4 windows was like the picture Thawk posted.

I hope they've fixed it going forward, but it might just be the nature of wrapping.

tip of the rear trim behind the rear doors are starting to lift on mine. 3400miles so far....

I saw a black Type-R with this exact issue. Mine isn't peeling...yet.

All my trims got replaces at dealer, warranty.
