Does anyone know the part numbers for these 2 filters?

Also is KN Performance Filters worth the extra prices?

Where is the best place (store/web site) to get then in Ontario?

Thanks

Update, I bite the bullet and purchased the K&N filter 33-5044 along with the Restoring Kit 99-5050. It's claim is that and it will be most likely and in my case be the last Engine Filter I will need. Just take it out say every 2 years (80,000 km) clean and restore it.

I have found that what I believe is the OEM # for the Cabin Filter. OE 80292-TF0-G01. Now to find one of these units.

How has it been? Better gas mileage? Sound better?

I mainly purchased it to be the last filter to buy for my Honda . Gas mileage is about he same 6-6.1/100 around town and down to 5.5-5.8 on the Hwy. Sound better, I don't drive my coupe in a manner to notice any difference. Around town the turbo is mainly not working at all. Like I said I bit the bullet (price wise) mainly for the 1st reason. Time will tell if it was the right decision.

OK Update. I got out on the hwy the other day and gave it a little run for the money. Still can't believe how quick this little "Rocket" can be. To answer the quest about "sound" it is now a lot more noticeable (intake noise) than with the standard filter.

Same here, I took your advised and purchased that filter. Mileage has went up very noticeable during city driving although I can't say if it's because of the colder temperature and increase in efficiency from that.

Sounds way more noticeable and boost buildup sounds quite decent.

My 0-60 time increase ~0.2 seconds on average.

I looked at the K&N but decided against it due to the oil on it. Im looking for a dry hi flow filter.

The oil is what catches the particles.

OEM Honda filter sold at dealership service stations also comes oiled. Nothing to worry about I imagine. Seeing that catch cans are catching worse gunk, I wouldn't worry about the mineral oil or whatever these filters are treated with.

Would be interested to hear what you got for the CAF.

I got some cheapo pure paper filter from Amazon and it seems just as fine as the charcoal infused oem filter.

I believe they use charcoal for smell illumination. Cheapo filter you’ll smell a lot more crap inside the car I assume.

I have done the same. It will be installed next year (2nd year of operation) For the savings I can buy 3 filters to Honda's one. or get one from CTC when they are on sale.

My mileage is now between 4.9 to 5.1 / 100 (55-57 mpg Imperial or 45-48 mpg US) The stock filter was about 10% less. This is @ 90 km/h (55 mph). I live in a rural area without much stop and go traffic. Great filters!
