Mishimoto's Type-R Intercooler R&D Thread

Looks awesome when new, after 3-4 months after alot of dirt, rocks and shit hit the intercooler it won’t look the same.

I ordered on the 10th of August, recived my order comp last Thursday, but still no tracking info.

Pre-ordered confirmation Jul.31 / Silver with Red / Updated CC info email Sep.28 / Shipping and Tracking info today Oct.02

Got this bad boy Monday, tempting to install it right away but I will do one time install, along with some other supporting mods. Patient is a Bit#%%!

I imagine it should be coming soon depending on colour combo. Went with the black/black and ordered in July.

Did the black one came with the M stencil or did I just missed it when preordering? Looks really nice! If it comes like that I might have to change my order!

Well the wait is over... Got my confirmation last thursday for silver. And red.. Today it will be delivered by 4 pm.... Hot dam!!! Im excited... Gonna be great weather this weekend to install too woo hoo!! So if u ordered around aug.4th like me expect it real soon.

Looks great!, and like the red stencil 'M' on the red bumper . Also like the looks of the higher flow grill with the red Honda 'H'. Cant wait to see it all bolted on.

I called and requested one. If they have any laying around they'll just ship one out to you.

Dang! I didn’t know.... it’s a bit late now since I just got my shipping confirmation for the silver / red pipes... ughhh!! I wanted a black one but it didn’t come with the stencil, that’s why I went with the silver.

Call them. Nick gets them out pretty quick. Mine came separate from each other

Someone on facebook said that you can unclip and fold away the stock plastic shrouds instead of cutting them. Has anyone tried installing that way?
