I'm experimenting with adding Honda OEM center caps to my wheels with an adapter by a user here Thawk - just wondering what people think.

I think the OEM caps match my car better, but the Enkei caps match the wheels better. I had one friend tell me the OEM caps look cheap because they're gloss while the wheels themselves are matte.

Any opinions welcome.

Over the weekend I gave it a very much so needed bath. Finally a break from all of the damn rain!

Two things, when I touched that perforated leather on the steering wheel from a sample I had my hands on - It felt a little cheap.
Those door handle guards are going to be a bitch to remove. I'm going to do standard ppf film.
I had to replace my OEM one because it was having random slice marks from who knows where as if someone took a razor blade and went at it. Plus I couldn’t justify dropping $700-800 on a custom steering wheel when I got this one for free. As for the door handle guards, my car is fully ceramic coated, it shouldn’t be a problem removing it.
Do people make it a habit of adding and removing the handle protectors often?

After considering if I wanted them or not i'm installing soon, but I can't imagine i'll want to take them off every other day... Maybe when they start falling apart?

You have to ask yourself if and when you’re ever going to take them off, that when you do how much damage are you going to do?

Not that anything is safe, even ppf. I.e when I take off rock guards off Porsche 911s, the glue has hardened and even the PPF can crumble leaving crap. Or worse case it rips or damages the paint. So much for PPF.

Yeah. That makes sense I guess. I plan on keeping the car and i'll just paint it if it's ever a problem. Freaking rocks are already having a field day on my front end. Should have PPFed sooner. haha

I wondered about running in the engine but my saleman told me it is ok to use the engine as intended after you have warmed it up thoroughly .

Just let the brakes bed in and I am up to 100 miles now so that should have happened .

I have not been over 5000 rpm yet but mighty tempted to gradually increase this
