There is a significant price difference between the eBay grille and the pro studios. The difference I can see from the photos is that the Prostudio grille badge area is covered with a black covering. The eBay grille is opened where the badge is suppose to go.
There are too many replicas on ebay, and maybe replica of replica. The only concern I have is the fitment. As many of you may have aware that the retainer clips on the bumper is fragile, any bad fitment will stress the bumper and leave huge gap.

I feel bad for Pro Studio if they are the one who comes up with the open grille designs.

Just want to know which one is the best fitting and has the right Type R Red badge to fit.

So far it’s procar studio with fd2 type R badge seems like the reliable choice

So just a heads up, tried installing this in my audm type r but had a major roadblock. This wont be compatible since it doesnt have the holes for the front sensors. So only for USDM type r’s.

Im selling mine included with a red H badge if anyone’s interested.
Hey,

I ran into the same issue on an EU CTR, but transferring the parking sensors was very easy. You need to drill two holes in the new grill and the brackets holding the sensors on the OEM grill were just taped to the back side, so they were easy to remove with a razor. The end result is pretty good I’d say. The emblem I used was 75700-SNW-003, I think.

You just need to drill the holes and transfer the sensors with the holder across. Just reapply the double sided tape on the holders and you are good to go. I did it with good results.

What drill size did you use?

I used a step drill bit similar to this:
https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-10-30mm-step-drill-bit_p6290411

I cannot remember which size already but it was either 14mm or 16mm from memory. It worked really well against the plastic material on the grill. Just put down some masking tape and measure off the location and drill away. Take it nice and slow and you will be fine. The sensor holders are just stuck on with double sided-tape, so just use a knife and cut/pry them out from the old grill, clean the surface, re-apply some 3M outdoor double sided tape and put them on the new grill.
