Bought this on Amazon.ca (Canada) for $12 CDN. Was a breeze to replace.

Packaging: I was stunned when the package arrived from Amazon. It was in a Potauto branded sealed cardboard box, and the filter element was itself sealed nicely in a plastic baggie. Inside the baggie was a maintenance minder sticker intended to be stuck on the windshield to remind driver of when it needs to be changed, nice addition, but kinda useless. Packaging was on par with the Bosch Hepa filter and far better than FRAM which is just the element in a cheap unsealed cardboard box.

Quality of product: I just slid it in, and HVAC blows air about as well as the OEM CAF. It is surprisingly sturdier than the OEM which was an eye popper because I expected this cheap product to be flimsy, but no, there's lines of epoxy of some sort laid over the ridges that prevent the CAF from flexing and the Air flow direction markings on the side were clear.

Effectiveness: Obviously I cannot speak to the effectiveness as I just bought it, but I doubt that it's so cheap it's going to have half the life of the OEM one or Bosch or FRAM's.

Competitors: I bought this one without doing much research. But for just $3 more you can get the Bocsh paper filter or the Ecoguard brand. FRAM Febreeze CAF with charcoal is $20 CDN on Amazon. Will certainly be trying these ones next time.

Highly recommend this to my Canadian Civicx peers who are just looking for a cheap bare paper-type replacement and do not want the stealerships to charge $50+ CDN to replace the CAF.
