How did you guys mount your rear tow strap?

I purchased 2 universal tow straps, planning to mount one of these at the rear.

But I found out the diameter of the rear tow hook bolt is ..... very very big.... M22 x 2.5 I believe. Almost like 3mm bigger than the hole on the tow straps.

Wow I had no idea R had mounting points for hooks. I know my Z had one but I never attached it, was aluminum and lived in the trunk. Good post!

Lol it’s not like you purchased a fwd car with a big ass wing and a whole bunch of fake carbon fiber from factory...
We just like the way certain modifications look pointless or not.

Just so you know, when I got towed they had a hard time reaching the front tow hook underneath the car because car was too low. It took him an hour inching up the ramp so the chains won’t hit the front lip spoiler. Now I have a tow hook up front I won’t have to worry about my front end and be out of the shoulder of a highway and out of danger fairly quickly.
so yeah, overly ghey.
