Dumb question about ktuner v1.2

So I just flashed my car and I have to say, very impressed!!! It’s a whole new machine and feels like it should have coming from factory

Simple dumb question, I have the v1.2, do I have to keep that plugged into the ob2 while it’s flashed? I have kept it in as I’m not sure but if it has to stay in, what would happen if it were to fall out at some point?

You don't have to leave it plugged in, unless you want to use the TunerView app. It will bluetooth from the tuner to your device.

Once the flashing is complete you can removed. As stated above, you can leave it plugged it if you want to connect the TunerView app to it.

I recently flashed my sport hatch and yes, definitely you can tell it rides much smoother than the original Ecu tuning. The car feels stronger and does not have that quick second lag from the get go or from shifting into gears. Glad you u the switch over.

It’s incredible what ktuner does to that car, I bought my car in 7 months ago so the feel of the new car had kind of worn off...thanks to ktuner it feels like I just bought another brand new car

I installed the software with the V2 model. I did the dual/21psi. Love it! I just wait for about 10 minutes to get fully up to operating temperature before pushing it, which I only do if needed. I often set the dash display to the turbo meter just to see how much turbo boost the car is using. I can often get nice acceleration with the turbo only activated about 50%.

Man I read these threads and really, really need to scrape the money together to buy one. Looking forward for the Sport button to actually do something, lol.

V2 has a 5" touchscreen; you don't need a laptop to lock or unlock.
