The other day I installed an amp and subwoofer in my 2016 honda civic 1.5 CVT. I tapped into the 24 pin connector and power wire, unfortunately, I also (being an idiot) didn't unplug the battery as I was having other issues and blew the relay in that. (planning on replacing soon)

I was pulled over tonight about 25 minutes from home by an officer who was nice enough to inform me of my rear running lights being out, but after I arrived at my destination I realized my reverse lights are also out. I checked my fuses under the hood and everything seems to be intact.

Edit: bad fuse for reverse light; was replaced. Still looking for my rear running light off issue (outer red part of tail lights not illuminated while driving)

Anyone have any idea if it's at all possible that It's just a bulb, and are those lights also connected to the relay in the Instrument cluster?

There are some fuses inside the cas , driver side.
How do you check fuses ? You need a meter, by eyes you may not see a burn fuse.

I don't know about the relay,( you are sure it is a relay ? ) it must be useful. Put new one.

I just replaced the reverse light fuse and all is good with my reverse lights. My running lights in the rear still don't light up alone like they did before.

Also, yes I am positive it is a relay and there's no way to just replace that relay by itself so from what I understand (posts around the forums) you need to replace the entire instrument cluster to get backlighting and all to work again.

All light related issues were solved with fuses. Stop light fuse under hood for tail light braking illumination; backup light fuse resolved issues with reverse light illumination; unknown fuse under the dash was replaced by dealer service tech and resolved the always on (with headlights)

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I cannot find an answer to this:
Where is the fuse for the the reverse lights?
Both my reverse lights arent working and I wanted to check the fuse but don’t know which one it is.

I have looked through the manual to see fuse locations but I am unsure as to which circuit the reverse lights run on. I have attached pictures of the fuse locations for both the engine compartment and the inside fusebox. There is no fuse labeled exclusively for the reverse lights.

I was hoping somebody could direct me in the right direction as both my reverse lights stopped functioning at the same time while all my other lighting is fine.

2021 Civic is on warranty, why don't you see your dealer ? You don't have to work on your car...Unless you do some mod with electrical circuits ?
