I also hope they perform well.

1 thing I do not understand. Honda sells 6 or 7 times the number of Civics as Fits, why come out with the Fit version of the headlight 1st?

Do the depo headlights come with LEDs already or do you have to buy them apart? If they do come with them already can they be upgraded for better visibility?

Anyone who bought these over 6 months having any issues? I bought a pair of ek headlights from depo years ago and after the 1st year, the clear coat started to peel badly

I will never, ever spend that kind of money on headlights. GTFO with that price, Morimoto.

I mean they look like high end OEM LED headlights and those are pretty damn expensive so I'm not really surprised about the price. But you could buy a lot of other more useful stuff for your car with that money. You could literally do a HID retro for around $600 or less.

I’m just waiting for a real output comparison. From what they show, it doesn’t look all that good. Not $1,200 good at least. The morimoto 2.0 led bulbs in the halogen housing look better imo

I mean you can get the same or better output from a retro for less than half so why would you really want to, unless you are going for show.

Budget subjective. If you guys don't want it, move on then? lmfao. But yes, for those of you who do get it first, please post output shots :p

Assuming they are DOT approved, it makes sense the output isn't mind-blowing.

It is much easier for a retrofit, HID kit, etc. to out-perform OEM-like headlight when you don't have to adhere to any of the rules that govern them.

The J's and Mirimoto are basically the same headlight.
