Anyone experienced a P0299 code on stock tune?

Only mods: Intake, DP and exhaust.

Code came on three times after DP installed.

Downpipe allowing turbo building boost faster/more than stock tune normally should allow causing code?

Also did you check all your piping, both exhaust and around the turbo to make sure nothing was accidentally loosened during DP install? Could be a leak.

Some ECU tuning modules have p0299 code disablers because extra boost outside of stock parameters will throw the code. Considering your code came after your downpipe install, if you're not feeling a loss of power under boost, then maybe invest in a tuner to disable the code, otherwise check your lines to make sure theres not a boost leak.

Ok. Dealer replaced my valve cover and did a nice job of connecting everything back. Drove locally 35mph back to the house and didnt notice it with low speed. Sat in garage for a month for DP installed and popped CEL4 times during my drives. Max PSI was only 4.

After poking around, both hoses was not connected to my factory boost controller. 1 missing clamp and they broke a clip.

This is why I hate bringing my car into the dealership. But sometimes we all have to do it for recalls and warranty work... sigh

I've got P0299 underboost after a downpipe install, too. Which is weird because I had no issues prior. I literally only took off the cat and put on the PRL.

I agree with the dealership comment. I sent it in for warranty and I got it back with EVERY SINGLE PIECE of the underbody plastic missing screws and push plugs.

Exactly I got hammered by some people on my thread because I won’t take me car to the dealer with 1300 miles on it they break more than they fix.

Yep but everyone builds this car up. It handles well for a front wheel drive car an that’s it period. The past few days I think I am going to get rid of it. I would rather have another s2000 or the teg type r than this thing somedays. Honda don’t make em like they use to

I am over talking about this thing overheating on another thread... it’s a joke the way Honda plumbed the turbo an everything in this car it’s pathetic
