My wife and kids are the usual passengers. My kids love it. My wife says the Si is nicer than her 2017 Forester. But no matter how smoothly I shift, I always see her whole head move forward at each shift. She never complains, but who knows.
My gf says she doesn’t even feel it when I shift even though I see her tilt forward every time.

I get annoyed when people in automatics race me on the road. Mostly BMW boys like to grin at me if they get ahead. I dont see the pride. All you do is put your foot harder on the gas than usual. :rolleyes1: What fun is that?
Lemme guess, it's usually the guys with the 320i lease specials?

My wife, who can drive manual better than I, likes my car better than her Xterra. Of course, she's still recovering from abdominal surgery, so that might be part of it. Before surgery, she stated that she liked the ride of the Si better than my BRZ too.

its ok dude, you didnt buy this car to make your mom, or anyone else other than yourself happy. as long as you love it, thats what matters in the end.

I’m with Boosted on this one, as long as you dig the car, who cares? While I generally get positive feedback some people say the front seat is a little uncomfortable, especially on a long trip. But almost everyone I come across says they like the car, especially women. The Si sedan is a little low profile though so most dudes don’t notice that it’s an Si. Women think it’s cute, which I find hilarious. It generally makes people happy so that’s a win.

Probably has more to do with how often you're carrying passengers, and who. I got the Si because it was both practical for the family and fun for me. It edged out the GTI for numerous reasons; rear seat volume being one of them.

I think with any car in this segment, there's a bit of give and take. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Passenger reports:

My wife likes the "butt-gripping" (her phrase) seats.

Most frequent passenger is the dog, who curls up and falls asleep in the back seat the second we hit an interstate.
