Hey Everyone

Anyone have recommendations on Honda tuners familiar with tuning for high elevation? currently using a KTuner 1.2, love how easy it was to get up and running, but i need a professional tune.

i love and drive in the Rockies with my 1.5T, and my knock control runs something fierce. Highest i've seen was 1.12 on @KTuner dual 21psi tune. As i've seen people getting worried at 0.60, i've tuned back to stock for the time being, but i do miss the extra power and rev-hang delete.

i live in Canada, and i'm anywhere from 1050m above sea level in the city to 1600m in the mountains pretty regularly. 3444 to 5250 in Freedom Units (feet)

Thanks in advanced

If you're on a lower grade fuel because of your elevation knock control is likely settling in right where it needs to be to avoid noise.

Using Costco or Shell 91 octane.
How much k control is too much for high elevations in your opinion?

The knock control system does whatever it needs to do to keep noise below the thresholds. 91 octane I wouldn't expect to see that level, but Shell isn't exactly the greatest quality. No idea for Costco. Feel free to try a different brand like Chevron and see what that looks like.

Try using Petro Canada 94 Ultra. It will be the best you can find in Calgary. Husky 94 is ok too. The 94 has 10% ethanol whereas the 91 is ethanol free.
