I've decided on getting the Vossen CVT 19" after looking at a ton of wheels and I talked to a specialist on CARiD and they called Vossen to confirm the fitment on my 2016 Honda EX-T.

They said it would have to be 19" 8.5 with a recommended offset of +40 or more. Thoughts? I figured the +35 would be okay but he said that they wouldn't fit which I thought was weird since I did see a post about the Vossens after I found them as well. Also would a tire size of 225/35/R19 be good for those wheels?

Sorry, kind of new to all of this. Thanks guys!

+35 is definitely fine

I'd go at least 235 on an 8.5" wheel. I'm about to mount some 255's on mine. :)

Thanks! I'm trying to keep a comfy ride (as comfy as going from stock rims to 19" rims are) but fill out the wheel wells a little bit more. Any differences from 235 to 255? I've been looking at the Nokian Tires from the other thread but I live in Florida so I would only need the Summer tires, other recommendations for quiet tires that aren't that expensive?
Also, do you think the car could eventually be lowered without rubbing if I were to put things like a 75lb Kayak on it with another person? I know it'll be okay at stock height.

In theory a wider contact patch should equal a better ride. 255 is pretty wide though, you may have to worry about rubbing if lowered a lot.

I see, any recommendations for tires that are economical/quiet? I was looking at those Nokian tires to fit onto the rim as I would only need the summer versions. Thoughts?

Check out Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's for a great value Summer tire.

You wouldn't happen to know any good flow formed wheels that look like the CVT? I've been eyeing the forgestar F10D since it is lighter and not cast like the CVT but it's 19"x9... I'm trying to understand how the numbers work but it seems to work as well for the civic?

Also, thoughts on the General Gmax rs tire? I've been reading good things about it too and it can be mounted/installed on the forgestar wheels from modbargain as well. But I'm also considering waiting for black friday for a sale if anything.
