He is supposed to get PPF and ceramic coating. I did not get to drive it, but I wouldn't argue if he gave me the keys.

I ordered these from eBay and watched a few videos on youtube for how to install. Very easy . This link should work. Also if you have a black CTR Ask for white lettering.

catch can in, the backorder wait was a few months. thank you chinchi @ USR for the great communication.

Wrapped the inlet, put the heatshield back on with just the top and side bolt (I just folded the blanket under about 1/4" to get enough clearance for the bolt hole, then unwrapped it back over the bolt), and installed the P0139-less Ktuner Stage 1 DP tune. She runs strong! She sounds badass! And best of all, she does run much cooler now. I was beating the crap out of it for 10 minutes or so and didn't get a CEL, and also with the same ambient temp as yesterday (77*) I only hit 116 after a pull through 6k in 4th, from 1st. And though it hit about 116-118, it was back down to 99 within a few seconds just from driving. I am seriously impressed and happy I spent a couple hours doing this.

Edit - since this is a dupe post from the RV6 DP thread, the reason it sounds better/different is because yesterday I had the RV6 catted, ceramic DP installed. Today I undid that a little so I could wrap the inlet pipe and re-install the top heatshield - it really does make a huge difference to IATs.

You need a 3/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT adapter, then a 1/4" NPT ball valve.

To remove the bottom hex nut from the catch can, you can use a 1/4" drive extension.

^ i did the same with amazon brass fittings (cuz i'm lazy )

Got super lucky on my alcantara shift boot install from Overland Designs - my locking nut threaded right off and right back on so I just had to slip it over the shaft, spin the lock nut back on and tighten it all back down. Took about 15 minutes and that was just being super careful not to scuff or break anything.

And here it is...the final solution - you do NOT need custom sub boxes. Please take a look as I am thrilled at the result, performance, and such stock stealth final look!

The design has tested successfully without any issues using yet a new sub, Alpine Type-R SWR8D4 and Rockford Fosgate T750x1bd amp (actual tested at 535W into 4 ohms and 969W into 1 ohm or 2 ohms). I'll review the JL W3V3 8" sub once it arrives from our sponsor.
