New battery already?!

Wow, I've only had my 2016 for a touch more then 2 yrs and just had the battery die on me. Replaced under warranty, but that's the quickest I've had that happen. Funny thing is I was at the service center and the guy said he had 4 more dropped off over the weekend for the same thing.

I'm amazed it lasted that long

I mean, it is the size of a riding lawnmower battery. At least with the disconnect and new battery, it flushed them little annoying gremlins out of the system

Lol same thing happened to me today. 2 years and almost to the day 4 months later. Had to get a new battery

I’ll bite. Why?

Mine only lasted 2.5 years in the south Florida swamp.

The batteries are crap in our cars.

Mine lasted 2.5 years and 45K miles. Since it is so small and weak I was happy to get rid of it and put in an AGM.

Car batteries have been shit quality for a LONG time now. Ever since they started using these small little batteries, the lifespan has gone downhill in every brand that uses them.

What batteries is everyone replacing the OEM with?

Im on my 4th battery in 2 years. that one was installed in Feb 18 and had slow cranking yesterday and the day before. The first 3 were OEM honda covered them under warranty.

Now that I had to pay for a batter on my own, I went Duralast Gold 500 Cold crank amps, 5 year warranty. lets see if this goes more than 8 months, unlike my last 3 OEM batteries

Your car is 2017, is the battery under Honda warranty?

The battery in my familys 2016 HRV die around 2 years too...Im guessing cost cutting.
