Black Pack Wheels

Anyone with the Black Pack wheels - how are you liking them? I read that they are heavy and a few people thinking of upgrading?

I've got the stock wheels on my VTI-L and to be honest every time I look at the side profile of the car those shiny silver alloys just stand out like dog's balls.

I've asked the dealer for best price on a new set of the Black Pack wheels. What would be the going rate for a set of second hand set? Likewise, if you bought them new what did you manage to get for your previous stock wheels?

Anyone upgrading want to offer up a price?

I personally did not go for the black pack just because it was too small of a size for an “upgrade” and the RS came with nicer 17s also.

I just bought new set of wheels after a year so my RS wheels is up for sale.

Are these your wheels at the moment?

Yes, these are the stock wheels on my VTi-L.

Do you have a pic of your RS wheels, also are they 17"?

I agree, the RS wheels definitely look better than the VTi-L ones.

I got the black pack, wheels look amazing.They are technically a matte finish. They are really to clean water just beads off the wheels. its night time now so i cant really post a pic.

I have the RS rims and also feel like it's a little too shiny (for my liking). I've seen 2 RS white hatchbacks around with the black pack rims and love the look. I tried looking at getting my RS rims power coated to be all gloss black but they're unsure what the original black finish is and how it'll look after sanding it back. If was all silver then it would have cost $50 a rim (Sydney) to powder coat. So now currently having a look into Plasti Dip or other painted solutions.
