I don't have a letter for some reason.
Neither do I, my CEL came on randomly on my way home from work the other day. They just called me saying they have to keep the car over the weekend because they think this is a harness issue also. They're currently coordinating with the Honda tech people.

FYI, for the Alabama folks I just learned that there are only 4 techs qualified to work on the CTR in the N. Alabama area and 2 of them are in Huntsville. The service advisor said they were reading over the forums to see if this has happened before so maybe they're reading this:rofl:

I hear it's a pain to do too...actually had a Honda tech tell me to not bring it to his shop, as this recall is a pain in the behind to do...

I have not received my letter but my local dealer confirmed it needs the recall. My dealer has not completed the fix on any CTR's so mine would've been their first.
I decided I will wait until I receive the error code or take the car in as the warranty is set to expire.
Every time I go to a dealer I leave with other issues so for me it's not worth the headache at this point. I figure worse case they will become more familiar with the job working on other peoples R's.

If it's a recall then warranty status doesn't matter.

How did things go when you took yours in? I plan on taking mine in the next few weeks. I wsnt them to replace mine plus center my steering wheel up.

I just got off the phone with them actually. He said the turbo actuator solenoid was stuck closed so they're replacing the valve, I guess we'll see if that fixes it.
