But why would someone ever want to put a CTR part on a non-CTR?!?!
Who would do such a thing?!?!
How dare you violate the sacred CTR (or insert other idol) like that?!?!?
Looks terrible!!!! o_O
Doesn't need it!!!! :dunno:

I know, I know. But seriously let's move on, yeah?:coffee:

My question is specifically about the drilled holes that are already there on the Si coupe- from the factory installed wing. There's plenty of threads discussing installation on sedans, and also on non-Si coupes where you're drilling from scratch. Nothing about when you already have the holes, so I'm curious... I mean, asking for a friend: do they match up with the holes from a legitimate CTR wing? Do they NOT line up, but still get covered by the pillars? Also, is the angle of the wing any good with a legit CTR wing vs say, one from IKON or something? Anyone actually done it to an Si coupe already?

Ok, I'll let myself out.

Not sure it would fit the Si coupe, as we already have a spoiler/holes. But, @Ronin had a post last year with this spoiler on his coupe https://www.ebay.com/itm/322546899602.
Trackin this one, and I do like it. But you hit the nail on the head - I'm essentially wondering whether I'll have to drill new holes to install it. Secondarily, whether CF might be a lighter/sturdier choice of material for the wing. I hear some folks had to install rods to keep it from wobbling at high speeds.

How high is high speeds? Tracking is off the table for me as there is not a shot in hell I could fit in here with a helmet on. With that in mind as long as it’s not falling off at 80 it would be fine for me

Yeah that's the look I'm going for. A little thicker side profile for the wing, but not quite WRX STi status. Any chance you could ask him which brand he went for, and whether the install was pnp or requires drilling new holes?

Sorry, to clarify - by "tracking" I just meant "am aware of." In retrospect, that was a poor choice of words in this community HAHA!

You do raise a great point though. My head is literally millimeters away from the roof liner, and I never considered how little helmet room there is until just now.
