Econ off always.
79000+ miles, close to 200 fill ups. Winter averages around 42, summer 47ish to as high as 50mpg.
90% plus highway miles, typical speed of 55-60mph. AC use is little to none.

9,900 miles. Lifetime average so far is 40.0mpg per the computer.
Mostly highway cruising to work. More stop/go on commute home. Noticed per the computer display, average about 45mpg into work, about 35mpg home.
Where is lifetime average?

~13,000 Miles.
Mode: Sport (Si)
Driving Habits: Aggressive
Fuel Used: 93 Octane
Engine 1.5t
~60 miles a day. 50/50 city/hwy. Normal average 32-34 MPG.

I have no clue how people are getting 40+ with the Si. if you have any stop and go, 40+ is a pipe dream.

I'm still trying to get a handle on my MPGs. So far, I'm at 35.64mpg over 1413 miles (tracked on a fuel app, not the instrument cluster). I've used 89, 90, and now 93 octane. There's a decent difference in mileage for me between 89 and 90/93. Getting about 10% better mileage on 90/93. I drive probably 60/40 highway/city. I'd say my driving habits aren't aggressive, but I don't drive like a granny either. Right now though I'm still breaking it in so haven't revved past 4k rpm at all. Not sure if any of this helps but that's my experience so far.

If you are past 1k miles the car should be broken in :) Honda's break in is 600 miles

MPG threads rule. :drive::headbang::sleep: Oh brother.
I made this thread to see what others get compared to mine, honestly didnt expect this to get many replies lol. I see most people has more highway driving to me and I'm hoping to come across a person who is like me 80/20 city/highway.

My car has two trip odometers - A and B. I have never reset the "B" trip odometer.. so it matches the actual odometer for mileage. When I have the instrument cluster display set to the "fuel economy" readout, it will show mpg for whichever Trip Odometer you have the dash set to. Hence, the 40 mpg "lifetime"..

Interesting. I'll have to check that out.

I was just going off of what was suggested for previous Hondas I've owned (2013 Si, 2009 Fit). I know, different engines, but I'd rather be safer in the first 2.5-3k, plenty of time after that to have fun!

civic si sedan. TSP Stage 1 with PRL Stage 1 intake hose and drop in green filter
65 hwy/ 35 cty
Daily commute is 34 miles each way, usually see 45-50 mpg on the drive in, and 30-45 on the way home because NJ traffic is a PITA
15,000 miles but unable to say what the lifetime is since I use my Trip A/B for short/long road trip mpg tracking. Usually get around 380-450 miles per tank (summer/winter)
usually old man style with kids in the car, occasionally standing on it

My Si is pretty much just a point A to point B vehicle so I really don't drive it aggressively at all... I think I've had it in Sport mode maybe a dozen times. I've done better than 41 mpg with my last 8 tanks of 87 octane fuel.

The magic for me is the highway miles... My first/last 11 miles of my daily commute is stop and go with traffic and stop lights but 66 miles of my drive are highway miles at 71 mph. I'm sure if I slowed down to the 65 mph speed limit my mileage would probably go up a bit more.

Just for giggles I put in 91 octane fuel at my last couple of pit stops and I'm pushing a 45 mpg average on this particular tank of gas so far.
