Browsed through a bunch of mats on Amazon and at Canadian Tire (a Canadian dept store) and Wal Mart.

Could not find anything that could beat the Honda genuine rubber floor mats for the Civic. Dealers usually throw these in for free as part of a deal when buying the car.

Designed for Civicx and has a Civic logo. Fits the contours of the footwells better than anything else I'm sure.

Bought 3D Maxpider Kagu mats during the last ebay 15% discount day. Haven't seen anyone share them in gray, so I'll post some pictures.
The realworld color is a bit darker.

Awful stock mat, It only took 8000 miles for it to wear to this, and I even often drive without my shoes on during long road trip.

In EU we get the cars equipped with a set of quite decent all weather mats (or at least in my country) which are included into the price of the car. Doesn’t this happen in the US also?
This is how they look like:

No, those are add-ons that cost anywhere from $80 to $200 depending on dealer markup. Most people get them thrown in for free, but I paid MSRP for my car and I didn't get any floormats or anything. Dealer pocketed that money.

I ended up with Weathertechs and a Honda trunk tray in the back. Bought online. Work good.

Aha, i get it. The funny part is that here the carpeted ones are considered add-ons that you have to pay for, the all weather are being supplied as free.
Also, nobody sells you car without floor mats at all, regardless of the brand, they all come with some sort of mats.

I would have picked the all-weathers mat 10 out of 10 times if provided the choice. The carpeted one is awful quality, as you can see.

Yeah, that’s why I find it funny. In the US, if it comes with floor mats included, they are the carpeted ones which are awful quality and they charge extra for the all weather ones (which are quite decent). In the EU it’s the other way around. :)
When i was waiting for the car to be delivered (it was on back order, waiting to be assembled and shipped) i was thinking about buying a set of carpeted ones for the summer. And then I saw this thread and the opinions on the carpeted ones and gave up spending ~$100 on them. Then the car was delivered and saw that the “standard” ones are quite ok..and free of charge (at least extra charge:) ).

I got the Huskey All Weather mats a few weeks ago and love them. I will really appreciate them in the winter when the snow will no doubt find its way into the vehicle. Really like the looks, of them being that they are form fitted, even the way they feel. Best mats I ever owned.

I went with Weathertech all season. I had Husky's in my other vehicle, they were just a bit too stiff for me. Weathertech is more rubbery and less slippery.

I have the same mats, they're awesome. Look like they can take a real beating in the winter. Michigan gets subzero temps sometimes and heavy snow, I'm thinking these will hold up. They're not comfortable but I don't care, winter in general isn't comfortable.
