Is the ceramic coating necessary if the car isnt going to be a track car and its not my daily driver either. I mean doesnt the factory heat shield cover the downpipe?FYI guys we have 2 catless black and 3 catted downpipes downpipes in stock at the moment. We will making more ASAP.
It’s not necessary, but every little bit helps. Is the ceramic coating necessary if the car isnt going to be a track car and its not my daily driver either. I mean doesnt the factory heat shield cover the downpipe?
how can I check if mine was in a stock and sent for coating? ordered clatless while on the 7th. I dont mind switching to black if I dont have to wait.FYI guys we have 2 catless black and 3 catted downpipes downpipes in stock at the moment. We will making more ASAP.
Send us a message from the contact section of website. You order should have been send out to ceramic yesterday.how can I check if mine was in a stock and sent for coating? ordered clatless while on the 7th. I dont mind switching to black if I dont have to wait.
We will most likely start a new thread for preorders.I have the ceramic coated catless and I'm in love with it! Can't wait for the downpipe. Will this be the frontpipe thread also or would another thread be created for the frontpipe?
Turbo upgrades are far in the future right now so i wouldn't make that a determining factor for the downpipe. We are bottlenecked by fuel right now, so we need a upgraded DI pump or switch to port injection before any significant power can be made. Also rumor is it becomes unsafe going over 400TQ as it starts bending rods. Also the integrated exhaust manifold might make turbo replacement/tuning difficult as well. Here is a great teardown and review article about the K20C1 head. Will this downpipe fit a aftermarket turbo when it comes out or will it need to be replaced?
This was a very interesting read thanks for the post. The fuel problem is a concern which i saw consistent with the hondata results after tuning these cars.Turbo upgrades are far in the future right now so i wouldn't make that a determining factor for the downpipe.
