It works with the V2, but the unit has to be plugged in just the same.
When can expect the details on how to connect the 2018 models? I know you said today.....but I'd like to test this on my drive home.

Following
Im checking every hour while sitting at work.:D
@KTuner One question, how would flashing another tune works on the headunit? Do we need to power cycle the car? Would that mess with the process since the headunit also turn off?

The unit does all of the flashing and requires key off/on at the end of the flash to establish that everything went well. The only thing you'll be missing is an actual confirmation since the head unit would reset.

Well we weren't able to complete a confirmation test with an additional 18 in time with the few people who emailed in right away to try it, so I've posted a beta that will update the unit firmware here:

*Update* Final version was released here
www.KTuner.com/downloads

After installing it will ask to update your firmware once you plug the unit in, make sure you have good power and do so.

V1.2
Once updated and connected again you'll need to select Enable BT PIN Advanced In the Special V1.2 Commands under Tools menu.

V2
Under BT PIN on the main menu choose Enable Adv.

After it completes reset power to the unit by unplugged both USB and OBD sides.

Plug it back into the OBD side only and key on to accessory mode or start the vehicle.

On your head unit run the TunerView Lite app, go to connect in the TunerView menu, and choose search to show BT devices. Choose the KTuner unit on the right. If all is well it should connect!

We may alter these directions with feedback from you guys and we'll make an official post afterwards!

That is confirmed and it connects right away no issues key off and key on connects right away. Confirmed on 2018 Honda Civic Si.
When restarted you need to reconnect to the device and you're good to go.
