Tinting Sunroof

Hello Aussie owners, I know there are threads about tinting sunroof on this forum but wanted to see specifically for Australian owners.

Has anyone successfully tinted their sunroof?

I was asking around for quotes (Sydney) and it seems most tinters refuse to tint the sunroofs due to risk of cracking, but I see some owners in the US have done this successfully.

Honestly, you shouldn't need an installer to tint a sunroof. If you can put a screen protector on a phone without bubbles, you certainly can handle tinting a flat square sunroof.

Standard tint would come off quickly being exposed to the outside elements.

Back in the day I had some aftermarket side mirrors that had a blue tinted glass on them. I've found several companies that sell replacement glass for certain cars that have that blue tint on them. I'd buy them in a heartbeat for my Civic if I found them.

Isn't the sunroof pretinted? They told me it's privacy glass all round and you just get the driver an passenger windows tinted.

yeah i thought that was the case as well mine was pre-tinted when i picked up my car they asked me before i bought it though if that makes a difference. lol
