Music Through Bluetooth - Limited Volume

When my phone is connected via bluetooth, I have almost no volume when trying to play music through my phone.

Volume on car is all the way up to 40, and the volume on my phone is all the way up as well.

Is this just the way it is, or is there a setting that I'm missing?

Try resetting your phone maybe. Sounds more like a phone issue than a car issue.

Ya, there is a 'limit bluetooth sound volume' option in the my phone's menu. Probably something similar in yours.

I have the same problem with Iphone 13, Ver. 17.4.1
Volume limited sometimes to "11", Civic FK7
