I ordered one from MAPerformance on Jue 15th and they stated it would take about 2 months. I'm still waiting for my catch can.

Catch Cans are not necessary and probably a bad idea IMHO. That relatively miniscule amount of oil won't hurt the engine. Adds an additional maintenance item. If they were important / significant, don't you suppose Honda would incorporate them in the basic design ?!

For the Mishimoto Oil Catch Can, has anyone been able to order one within the last two months? I've tried with three different vendors and my order would get cancelled soon afterwards. They said the item is unavailable. After reading a few online posts, are the quality control issues with Mishimoto Oil Catch Can still ongoing? Any idea when Mishimoto will fix it? Any vendor alternative available?

I have a Civic Sport.
I had the same thing happen to me. Wasted one of the eBay sales coupons ordering an item that got cancelled. There is a thread on here somewhere in which Mishimoto rep says they are "out of stock" and should be "getting new stock soon," then other threads about potential quality control issues.

I got an update on my ordered catch can the other day. I ordered my catch can on 6/15/2018 and they are saying the catch can "should" be shipped at the end of this month.

$180 for a catch can? Granted the MM catchcan is the best.

But I'll bet sure the generic ones sold on Amazon are just as good. Only they don't come with the custom bracket MM can kits come with.

Seeing that a catchcan can do no harm, it may be a worthwhile project on this forum to make the deliverables for a 3D printable catchcan adapter that will work with any generic catch can.

Yeah, I thought it was a lot to, but went in for the ease of install vs generic. I thought the time saved was worth it.

I tried to buy the mishimoto catch can at MAPerformance but they said it was out of stock. I found one available at amazon instead. I put a 3/8 drain valve but it seems stupidly big.

It's very easy to get to and unscrew the can, no need for a drain.

I had issues with four sets of hoses mishimoto sent me smelling of fuel after a month or so. Tim at mishimoto admitted to me that all their current stock was garbage and being destroyed and that they were coming up with some redesigned hoses that were supposed to be in stock back in June if I recall correctly. I called in August and they still weren't available and had no eta at that time.
I said screw it,and got some fuel injection line from Matt at Maperformance and havent had any issues with it yet.

That thing is a Bitch. I put a thin layer of oil on the threads after having to use tools to unscrew it the first time, it helps a lot, but its still hard to undo.
