Mesh to protect intercooler / radiator

Anyone have any success or suggestions for a good inter cooler protecting mesh?

I am mainly talking a custom mesh I would cut to fit behind the bumper.

I removed my front bumper to replace my horns and my inter cooler is taking some serious hits - even at 12k there are about 20-30 dents / bent fin areas in it from pebbles or large bugs.

Pretty much hit up a hardware store and see what you can find. It will come down to what's available to you and how fussy you are on patterns. Also how many names you can think of if you're looking online; mesh, screen, lathe, hardware cloth (I found a roll of 1/4"x1/4" steel mesh at lowes called that).

Ebay could also be a good source if you're looking for more patterns, but expect to pay more for less. I ordered this just to see how it looks behind my grille before I do my own.

i looked a amazon and found many when searching metal mesh. i will need to get some when i do a horn change.

Buy a roll of gutter guard and ziptie it to the back of the opening
