What do you guys think?

I think the wheels would be great if they were a polished look (but I am definitely in the minority I think, as I don't like black or gunmetal color on wheels period). Regarding the wing. I would put that on my car ONLY if it was a track car exclusively, and the manufacturer had documented proof that it provides more down force than the stock wing.

Is it difficult to install these on the R? Kind of a pain on the SI. Looking to get these again for the R. It made a nice difference on the SI. Assuming it would here as well.

Lol I had them installed a few months back, just need to swap out the transmission fluid for Amsoil and I’ll feel like I’m shifting in heaven.

They’re more difficult to install on the CTR than the Si it seems, member @bbdave just told me to remove the battery tray and intake box and go HAM on it, took me a while to get them installed because that ring retainer clip was a pain to put under the small black bushing.

After you removed that stuff would you say it was a lot easier? Thanks for the tips. Anything else I should know? Haha

Take your time, it’s going to be a pain on your lower back when installing these bushings, unless you want to take off that cold side intercooler piping to make it easier, it’s really up to you, but seriously take your time because it can be really frustrating so good luck.

So to go off what Tim is saying. The install is similar to the Si, but I never removed the c clips holding the cables in place. It’s a pain but worth it

Alright, thanks. Notice a big difference in shifter feel with these? I know it helped a lot on the SI

Immediate difference, less ambiguity when going into gear. I have all the other acuity shifting upgrades as well. The bushings were the first.

So I just looked in my engine bay for these. Wow these look like a pain in the *** compared to SI location lol. Maybe I’ll wait until I get a new intake and while I have stock out I’ll replace those. Geez.

Removing the air box isn’t too bad. It’s just tedious. I was gonna wait until I swapped my intake but I went ahead and did it. Think of it as practice for swapping the intake haha

Very cool, did you do it yourself? Are there are any good honda tuners that you know of in Belgium? I currently live in western Germany and its pretty difficult to find one.
Yes ,I did it myselve , the best tuner in Belgium is BR Performance , he was the first one who could tune the type R ....

It makes a difference. I removed the battery/tray, and intake box to install them. Even then it was tight for the smaller bushing.

I'll post this in the Weight reduction thread too, but I finally put the Braille Battery in the car.

Factory Battery 33.4 lbs
Braille Battery(2317R) 16.8 lbs
Weight savings of 16.6 lbs

I used the battery tie down from Braille. I looked at others, but stuck with Braille's. A side note, 275 miles on the odometer and AC isn't working.

I also received word from FedEx, they finally found my Time Attack ZE40 wheel (Lost May 26 ish). So, I have that going for me as well.

Congrats dude! Can’t wait to see the wheels on the car!
