29 w/ Geico and pay $325 monthly for the four cars listed in my sig. Without listing your limits it's kind of pointless though. Do you have the state minimums of like 15k or do you have 500k? Big differences "full coverage" doesn't really mean anything.

Personally I have $100k property, $250k Bodily Injury, $50k uninsured, $500 deductible. Ex-gf used to work in insurance and after dealing with so many folks who were short covered, convinced me to get at least that, especially with the number of nice cars in my area and the sue happy culture with ridiculous health care costs.... Geico also offer free roadside assistance, but kinna redundant with Honda Care.

When I had basic liability with minimum uninsured on my last car that I sold for $800, I was paying less than $400/year.

Statistics drive insurance costs. 25 is the first cutoff. 65 is the next. Also, being male is more expensive. My costs have gone up year over year, due to increased number of accidents in my area, even if I personally haven't been involved in an accident in more than 10 years. Kinna fucked, honestly, but it is what it is.

Got the VIN. GEICO sees it as a hatchback. $30/60 coverage (ehhhh), collision, uninsured, $1000 deductible. Increasing coverage and reducing the deductible spikes it up to $900. I may be able to work with this.

Might should be will reconsider. My sister wanted to save a few dollars years ago and less than a month after she removed collision, she got into a major accident that ended up costing over $10k in repairs.

The few hundred dollars saved isn't worth the peace of mind and cost if something happened.
I’m gonna keep full coverage on the R and liability on the daily.

I think it would also be helpful to know what kind of mileage you have with your insurance plan. 5k annual miles and 15k annual miles makes a huge difference in the premium. Some people DD their cars some people only drive sparingly on weekends, etc.

Personally I would never go less than 2 million liability insurance.
With the liability portion, it really boils down to, how much you have to lose.
And considering the litigious mineset in the US, more is better.

Not sure I get it? remove collision coverage from his CTR? What if he has an accident and he is at fault, or he has a single car accident sliding into a guardrail or dodging a deer and swiping a tree? Any of those would be covered by collision insurance to fix his car. Without it, he would foot the bill out of his pocket. I must be missing something but that caught my attention. Maybe car insurance operates differently in Texas?
Agreed. If your CTR EVER leaves your garage you should have collision. If it wasnt for the state laws (which I agree with) I would say collision is the most important coverage.
