Can the brake/clutch fluid reservoir be accessed without removing the bar as well as the negative terminal on the battery?

Was going to do it but even with the discount, it’s over $200 for CA. Only if they would throw in free shipping.

Deal is active but shipping is no longer free, unless you spend 300 and up.

Installed the Ultra Racing strut bar. It took 3.5 weeks to recieve it due to an error by UR. The item came well-packaged in many layers of bubble-wrap, cardboard, and tape. Weight of the bar is 4.6lbs (2.1kg) and the installation took less than 10 minutes. The welds look okay and I love how this is a one piece bar with very minimal flex. Note that the height of the bar will push up slightly on the inner hood insulation and will cause a slight indentation and marking when the hood is closed.

With the bar installed, I didn't notice much of a difference in how the vehicle handles. It's not to discount others who have felt a difference. I don't drive my vehicle aggressively and will never take this vehicle to the track. Since the installation, I have had Eibach Pro-Kit springs and a Type-R rear sway bar put on and have felt a significant, positive difference in handling. I bought the bar primarily as cosmetic upgrade to the engine bay as it ties into my vehicle's paint colour (white orchid pearl) and I'm content with my purchase.

Have a pic of it installed on your white car?

I saw the instructions on the Tanabe strut bar website (http://www.tanabe-usa.com/towerbar.asp, under the "adjustable preload" section) about installation and I was wondering if you guys do this or not. It says:

"It is always recommended to raise the vehicle when installing so that the load of the shock upper mounts on the shock towers is relieved and balanced out. When raised, and the tower bar is placed onto the vehicle, the preload can be adjusted and set. After it is bolted on and the car is lowered, each shock tower will have equal load and will prevent independent movements of each shock. This will provide an extremely noticeable difference after installing. If a tower bar is installed on a car that is not raised, great benefits will be missed."

I know that this is not the Ultra Racing strut bar, but I am wondering if the installation on a strut bar the same and has anyone raised their car up during installation? And if u did how did it drive compared to when the car is not raised when installed?

I've never raised a car up to install a front strut bar on any car I've owned. Always on level ground. All the bars I've owned have been solid one piece bars unlike the Tanabe... maybe that's the difference? I honestly don't know.

I like the UR because it is a solid bar. The white also matches my white Si well.

Anyone know if they are gonna do free shipping again? $35 shipping I am not digging. Rather get free shipping and spend that money on some beer that I can drink while installing the bar.
