2018's are not affected (for now) per service bulletinI will be picking up my R late next week (should be) and it’s a 375 mile trip one way. Do I need to worry about this failing on me and putting me into limp mode on my way home? It’s a 5.5 hour drive. Do I need to refer my salesman to the TSB? My car will be an ‘18 model.
You should be alright for the time being. It’s not like they will change it out at your request. So, if the car has grey wrapped pin (following picture of mine car), I still need to change all the engine wires? Because someone in the earlier post mentioned that if you have grey wrapped pin, you need to change only air By-Pass Valve Control Solenoid Valve Assembly.Parts list is at the bottom of the Bulletin. You can call the dealer near you with the part numbers and grab them if all else fails
