I have the HKS Legamax. The deep rumble is great, but it's almost too quiet. for example, it was a bit quieter than my 08 si FullRace exhaust. Might try a high flow cat to see if it brings it out a bit more :/

Invidia R400 - no other modifications. Completely stock

- Does it sound good?
Yes, very deep sounding. Sounds amazing

- Does it drone in the cabin?
Unfortunately, yes. I'm hoping I'll either get used to it or it will go away after the break in period. If it's too annoying, I'll just call it a day and go back to stock :(

- Does the inside of your car vibrate after the install of exhaust? Can you feel the vibes in your seat?
Nothing rattles or vibrates. I can definitely feel it on start up and when accelerating to get on an on ramp. Nothing annoying at all. It's the exact sound I was hoping for.

HKS Legamax, after 4 weeks of having it, the exhaust note is still changing daily. Getting louder and less raspy as it breaks in. No drone to speak of yet. Still waiting to post a video until its fully done changing its sound and broken in, as I don't drive far to work its taking a while.

that sucks about the drone :( If you end up wanting to get rid of it and try something else, I know the milltek has zero drone...and apparently the HKS is doing good in that area also.

exhaust drones are so hard to really tell over words cause it's so subjective. Everybody has such different meanings of "drone" that you really have to sit in one to see how you feel. What might drone to one person, might not drone to you.

Best thing is to find someone local who has the exhaust and ask for a ride lol.

I just ordered the HG tri-tip system for my CTR. Can't wait for it to come in! Looks like the entire catback is one piece btw. Storing it should be interesting... LoL!

Keep us up to date this exhaust is on the top of my list currently as I want a slightly louder but no cabin drone exhaust.

Was at HondaFest yesterday in Connecticut and had a chance to listen to several types in one spot. We had about 40 Type R's lined up in the VIP area. Spectators seemed to enjoy the Thermal and Indivia, with the Remus getting the most votes for the aggressive note. You really hear the turbo whisle on the Remus, one guy sold his Millitek on the spot opting for the Remus instead.

Finally got the Remus valved exhaust installed, will put up a review after it's settled and getting a few things sorted. Will also compare it to the Greddy Tri-Tip I had on the car before. So far so good is all I can say for now...

I would like to give a shoutout to Michael from Remus USA for hooking me up with the setup and dealing with the hundreds of questions I had for him.

We have owned older tegs, s2ks civics.
Lets use this as drone standard A/B as i bet majority of heard this.

Standard A drone Level 8 (high drone)
a) 99 civic with fart cannon, 08 civic with skunk2 catback, s2k/civic with invidia n1

Standard B drone. Level 2 (Lower Pitch)
b) s2k hks hi power, 99 civic WS2 Exhaust

Would it be beneficial to use Standard A, or Standard B to rate the Fk8 Drone exhaust tones?

Well if you are talking about completely stock FK8 Exhaust then it's like a Level 0 to 1 tbh.
