I just flashed for the first time with the stage 2 dual tune (eco button) is factory setting. Off is 21 psi(?).

This is my first time doing this, was that the right choice? I liked it because of the option to go stock at the button push.

Also I am getting an intake next week, do I need to reflash? How does that work after the install of the intake.

I’m very new and any more info would help. I’ve read a TON on this forum, ktuner website, videos etc. it’s almost overwhelming as opposed to just asking outright in my own post for help.

Thanks!

If you were looking for stage 2 power, that's the right choice! The dual target options are great.

Depending which intake you get tuning may be suggested.

@KTuner how much hp gain average would you say added without any other mods running just this tune?

The issue won’t be the engine, it will be the clutch or CVT over time. Even by creating a broader, flatter torque curve, it still will stress the clutch and CVT. It’s inevitable.

I feel like it takes the turbo it a little longer to kick in, then when it does it rockets. Does this make sense? Am I just imagining it?

Yes, this is true if you are going max throttle around 2000rpm. This will also put the most stress on your transmission. I am on a 21-22 psi tune and prefer to downshift when I need / want to accelerate hard, and floor at least after 3000rpm (I try to get past 3500 to be honest). Then the turbo will spool super fast (quick settings will help on that) and maximum acceleration is available almost instantly.

@KTuner I am adding an injen Sri. Should I reflash. Or make any adjustments?

Consult with a tuner for fine tuning. The injen for non-Si we've seen throw fueling off anywhere from 7-15%.
