Why does it say "Turbo" on the side of only some civics?

What is the factor that makes the cars say "Turbo" on the rear left bottom quarter panel like in the picture showing below? I notice some of the Si's have it and some dont, yet they are all turboed.

I could be wrong, but these are just stickers some people buy and slap on that panel. I've seen them on the trunk too. As far as I know, and I could be wrong, these badges are not factory installed on these cars.

I have them on my si sedan. I know the si's in Canada come with the turbo sticker on the side skirt. I ordered mine from http://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/75773-TBC.html

Definitely came stock on my 2018 Si coupe in Canada.

i took off the civic emblem on the back and slapped a red turbo sticker in its place. TURBO SI the trunk says now

Just a wild guess. And I do not need a Turbo sticker.

I bought my OEM decals from a Honda dealership in Canada to make it look like the Canada model. I have a 2016 Honda Civic EX-L with Hondata FlashPro +6 map. Since I bought my car before the SI came out, at least I’m faster than a stock SI lol
