I went with ABM, because not only is the color GORGEOUS, but it reminds me of the Electron Blue Pearl on the EM1 Si.
wait what?! Those aren't close at all... EBP is way more purple

The blue is just gorgeous. That's what I went with. The ONLY reason I went with blue over white it's because my last two vehicles were white. The white is gorgeous, no doubt I just wanted something different.

Modern Steel Metallic was my choice, and frankly I surprised myself with that one. I was certain it would be either Aegean Blue and Lunar Silver. Both colors by themselves were great. My problem with the blue was context, not color. It made the plastic grills and trim look so... plastic. The silver? A similar issue. But while it seemed to flow better with the trim, it seemed emotionally flat to me. I didn't sense any character to the color. Maybe that's because I've seen silver vehicles ad nauseum lately. Everybody is getting silver cars, it seems. The MSM, on the other hand, has a dramatic undercurrent to it that is difficult to explain. It adds an unexpected conservative personality to the coupe that seems a good counter-balance to its boy-racer styling. It doesn't shout anything, but it doesn't look like it has to. It also has a "depth" the others didn't have; I waxed it up today and the metallic flakes look like they are floating below a glassy surface (and no, I don't do drugs). And the plastic grills, of course, don't "pop out" as they did with the other colors, giving the car a more consistent overall look. Really, if it was not for the trim, I suspect I'd have gone for the Blue. Here are my thoughts on the other colors (with all due respect to people who think otherwise - but ultimately there are no rights or wrongs here, just personal tastes):

Rallye Red: Shouts a bit too loudly. And I like another color to contrast the red tail lights
Crystal Black: Too Darth Vader for my tastes. And from what I've heard of black cars, they show dirt and imperfections more than any other color. If I loved black, however, that would probably not deter me from going to the dark side.
White Orchid: Intriguing! It makes the car look like a storm trooper, to continue with my Star Wars analogies. I ultimately liked the metallic paints more than the pearl paints, though. That said, however, my last car (a Mini) was Pepper White (nonmetallic) and I loved it.
Energy Green: PLEEEEEZE look at me! Hey, it's different, and not having seen one in the flesh (...er metal), I'm not saying I wouldn't go there. But I think it would be better named Slime Green; look for this one to fall in short supply if they ever do another Ghostbusters sequel.

Aegean blue is an amazing blue. Just like soul red is a stunning red in the Mazda camp. If it were a Type R then definitely white.

I went with the Lunar Silver but really liked the Modern Steel Metallic and White Orchid Pearl as well. It was so dark I was worried that it would show dirt and be really hot similar to previous car which was black. So I decided on Lunar Silver. Luckily it just dark enough that even in bright sunlight you can see it is silver. Other silver colors sometimes look white in bright sunlight. Now that you mentioned the storm trooper thing I should have gone with white, damn.

Mine is white and I like it, but I also really like the red ones. White is hard to keep clean and the rear end looked really bad through a lot of the winter here in Ontario. When it's clean it looks amazing though.

I'm from Ontario too. Which dealer did you get yours from?

my favorite colors on civics have always been: red or black

my least favorite colors on cars in general are silver white and gold.

white gets dirty fast and looks gross like a cream color if they havent been washed in a few weeks. and silver and gold just look gaudy to me... more so the gold.

oh and the green that honda came up with for this generation is ugly but not as ugly in person when i saw one. still definitely wouldnt buy that color. but it is u ique, like the orange color honda used on the 14 and 15 si's. that was horrible too.

All black or all white for me. I seriously contemplated going in all white including all additional kit, however, decided on black because the car does have some wide gaps in the panels.
