I searched high and low for images or info about the AVS in-channel vent shades for the Civic sedan and found nothing. I bought a set and thought I would share my thoughts.

It gets hot here in the Summer and I like to leave my windows cracked to vent hot air without fear of it raining and getting the interior wet.

Stock = no protection from rain. Mods are 18x8 Touren Flow Form TF03 40 offset. 225 45 Kumho PA31. K&N drop-in filter. 6500k LED low beam. 6500k LED interior. Philips 7440 LED rear-center brake light. Husky Liner Set Front and Rear. Ebay $25 custom trunk mat.

Rear is kind of useless if windows are cracked due to the shape of the rear windows

Installation instructions indicated the FRONT was supposed to go between weather-stripping and
plastic mirror trim piece.

I also own the Weather Tech In-channel for my Rav4 and the Weather Tech definitely feel higher quality. They almost click into place and feel very rigid and sturdy but I didnt like how the FRONTS mounted as they extend all the way down to the window sill and actually put pressure on it to keep it up into position.

So far so good and installation was a breeze (minus the issue of the instructions LYING about how they are to be installed).
Windows were left up for 24hrs and since then, I've tried raising and lowering the windows without any issue. The motor does work a bit harder for that last inch of travel but the windows have never reversed on their own.

What a great write-up! I've been looking to add some of these to my car, but haven't heard much as of late when regarding reviews and honest opinions. Also, price based been a point of contention to me. These seem like a viable option, but im not sure if I like the in channel or normal ones that fit above the weather stripping. That's just for looks preference though. Maybe I get the normal ones, because I mostly leave the back windows opened and these seem useless back there. Who knew that a point of contention with an Si would be the rain visors? Haha!
