just purchased and installed the OEM honda remote start kit from ebay/honda dealer, i completed the install yesterday,

when i connected the negative back to the battery, everything works fine with the new fob provided such as lock/unlock but car wont remote start. the temp goes to 72 as it should, everything seems to be connected like it should be, do i need to take to the dealer to program something?

here is what i bought https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-OEM-2016-2018-Honda-Civic-4Dr-LX-Remote-Starter-Attachment/351889073781?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Yes. It needs to be able bypass the immobilizer for RS and this need to programmed with HDS.

Do you have the manual for the RS? A good half of that document deals with this procedure.

How much did it cost to get programmed at the dealer? I'm looking at either going with this system or get the Flashlogic FLRSBA with ADS-THR-HA8 T-Harness & ADS-USB Programming Cable

Will this void my extended warranty if I put either system on my car?

The Honda remote start did not void my warranty, everything in just plug and play, no slicing wires
