well the ebay discount there is nothing the vendors can do, but they have agreements that all the vendors are supposed to advertise their goods for a certain price, its part of being able to sell products of these companies to make it fair to all dealers.

Well if anyone wants to come get it for 680, I’ll do that but I wouldn’t match that $100 that eBay has and lose a bunch of money for a part that still brand new in box.
after today, itll go back up the ebay coupon is only today

Back to the original topic ... I just bought a Rallye Red 2018 Si from David McDavid in Frisco. I like it a lot. It is the first non-BMW that I have purchased in many years. Other than the lack of luxury features, it is a great car. Took it on a 6,514 mile vacation and it was a lot of fun. I already have a clear bra installed and film on the windshield and sunroof. I will need to replace the dealer tint which is poor at heat reduction. I like ceramic films.

The first actual mod will be a tune with the KTuner. The front license plate bracket has already been removed!

What are you doing with the front licence plate? To my recollection Texas is a 2 plate state.

It is,the traffic law actually states must be attached to and visible from the front of the car, windshield mount does not count. You can get away with it but dickhead cops will use it as an excuse to pull you over and go on a fishing expedition

Hey gents! I'm in Plano, TX. Got a quick question for y'all since I'm new to this whole auto tuning in general.
I have a 2017 Civic Hatchback LX CVT and my question is that I’m trying to get rid of my stock wheels (215/55 R16 tires, 16x7 with +45 offset) and switch it out with 18x8 with +50 offset (Civic Hatchback Sport stock wheels). Will I be able to switch it out without changing out my suspensions or getting spacers or anything in that nature? And what about the TPMS if I were able to switch it out? I am trying to avoid spending more money on parts such as the suspensions, etc.

yes, they will fit just fine. and there isnt any TPMS sensors. Its indirect and measured at the abs sensor for the brakes so no worries their either

Texas is a 2 plate state. I have never had an issue running 1 plate on my BMWs. Most of the luxury dealers in Texas (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and the like) do not install the front plate bracket unless you ask for it. Most cops do not pull you over for it alone, although they can. It is only a $200 ticket and you can get it dismissed for $10 if you take your car to the court with the plate installed. Not a big issue IMO.

Does anyone know a good auto shop around Plano/Carrollton/Frisco area? I want to change out my headlights to the Type R headlights for my Hatchback and other misc. in the future.
