just installed it last night.
car is definitely louder, but not by a whole lot.
the sound itself is so much better though. everything about the engine sounds deeper and more refined.
the thing got loudest by far is the turbo suction.
my gf's lancer gts is still way louder than my car with her k&n CAI, but that's a 2.5L compared to our 1.5L. Pure displacement alone really limits how loud our engine is going to get, IMO.

How do you like it? Can you hear the spooling from outside? I'm really more interested in the turbo sound when I let off and start building boost

I would say compared to PRL and Injen it is the quietest of the group because of the enclosed filter design, but you can still hear it.

Haven't had a chance to have someone record from outside, but if it's loud inside, I'm sure it's even louder outside

Mind posting a sound clip of it revving and what not? Is this the only mod in the car right now?

This was a really unique project for us as we took a whole new approach to what a performance intake looks and feels like. We wanted to make a system that would not only help to make power but improve overall reliability and health of the engine. As well we wanted to make it look good so it would be nice to look at and something you would be proud to show-off to your friends and at meets and such.
That plus tons of people had concerns of wet weather so we wanted to make sure we can deliver a solution on that as well.

Any updates on possibly making more color choices(Just a simple black would be great)? I love the intake design but sadly orange is really not my color lol

Is the filter reusable? If not can you use another reusable filter with it?

Sweet, I eventually plan to get one and have been looking at this one and the Mishimoto short ram. How do you service the filter?

Very easy actually. You just remove it and rinse it. Cleans just like an AEM dry flow. Shoot us an email and I can get you a video link.

Hi I saw on your website the chart for temp changes. Any idea what that equates to in HP/torque? Also I've done my homework but just want to confirm one last time from the horse's mouth. This is compatible with the Canadian model with a CVT right? I know it's a tight fit with the CVT but are there any specific problems people are consistently running into? And any tips to getting around them?
