Want more power? Go with the Hondata Flashpro.

Problems solved!
I have some concerns with that... I believe (and maybe I’m wrong) that the car is going out of the factory in the best balance between performance and reliability and every tuning will hurt the reliability of the car (specially in my case since my car, thanks to my wife, equipped with CVT...).

If you want your CVT to take off quicker, there are two things you can do to remedy this.

1) Ktuner (Get a Base map. I'm using a Stage 2 base map).

2) Purchase a lightweight wheel/tire combo.

I can accelerate just as quick if not quicker than any Type R, Si or 1.5ltr turbo'd Civic on street tires. Quicker if you look at the 1/4 mile threads. My 60ft times at the track do not lie.

Have fun!

Spend the extra $600 and get a tuner - night and day difference
What is the tuner exactly ? What are the benefits one receives ? Is this something post-purchase which would then compromise the warranty ?

Look up "Ktuner"- lots if info on this forum too. To me it makes the car what it should be from the factory. manufactures have to meet certain Federal guidelines for emissions etc. Who knows Honda may also think about other issues as well. As far as warranties look up how car warranties are invalidated. By law they can't associate a warranty repair with aftermarket products unless it is shown that that product caused the damage. The basic example - if your turbo died then you probably beaded died a warranty repair But if your a/c compressor died it would have nothing to do with it and it would be repaired under warranty.
