I am 100% going to nationals. Beating people on the other hand...that’s TBD.

EDIT: he could’ve mentioned who did come in first in Sport 5 in the article...

I was surprised as well. For whatever reason I’ve always been really hard on brakes. I followed G-LOCs bedding procedure to the letter. I’m gonna try them again at a TNIA next week cause they did wear very well ,maybe my thoughts will change.

FYI on brake pads: I'll be running Hawk DTC-60 front, DTC-30 (a.k.a. street/race) rear at Gridlife at Gingerman this coming weekend. That's the same setup as Johnny ran at the first SCCA TT Primer and he didn't have any issues. I realize that the brakes are different, but the setup might work for your as well.
Just to follow-up: The above setup was fade-free and performed well last weekend. However, I was running in Time Attack mode (out-lap, two hot laps, in-lap) to keep the oil temps from climbing too high in the hot weather Thursday and Friday. Pad wear was as should be expected.

Kevin Boehm was also at Gridlife (not running, he was at the Acuity booth). He runs an Si with a Type R motor in SCCA STU (road race, not AX). He suggested Carbotech based on his usage/testing. I will be trying those out next. (Kevin knows his stuff.)

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve always had good luck with the Hawk DTC series. Depending on what happens with these G-LOCs, Carbotech was going to be my next phone call. Unrelated, I saw a few pics of your car and the event on Instagram. Looked like a good time. I wanted to make it out there but, ya know, life/kid/wife/work stuff happening.
