Does anyone know if the Greddy tri-pipe exhaust with the reduction on the flange coming from the front pipe affect flow if paired with a 3 inch front pipe?

See 1:10 from this video where you can see the pipe size reduction:

this guy is doing a video for a retailer, or is the retailer but doesnt know it connects to the front pipe, not the downpipe? Lol. Also that is a bottleneck at the front pipe, it does allow more gasket to seal to stock front pipe but with an aftermarket full 3" front pipe you are wasting flow with that bottleneck.....side note, I have had zero issues with 3"flange sealing to stock front pipe or even 3" front pipe sealing to stock exhaust.

Yeah, just ignore his lack of knowledge on the front pipe lol

But yeah, I do wish Greddy didn't go that route, 3" all the way would be perfect... Does the dual tip exhaust from Greddy also have this reduction?

Yes, dual tip does as well, but either one is easy to add 3" pipe and flange to get rid of the bottleneck, I have done it. But still, why manufacture it like that in the first place.
