I can finally add my 2 cents....Was terribly afraid of damaging OEM rims while trying to decide if/when I was going to upgrade to a 19" package. I decided that the wheels I ultimately wanted are at least a year of savings away, but I knew I needed all seasons come fall regardless so I went ahead and ordered 255/35/20's. I did go inexpensive, as I figured it was a "go between" until a year from now. So happy with how it feels! Agreed it's not as aggressive as the Conti's, but you aren't puckered up every time you see a shadow on the road that might be the next bent rim. LOL I went with the Falken 450's and so far I like them. It was $650 out the door and, really, that investment to save even one wheel is worth it. Pics later...Thanks to all those that did this same setup earlier and the advice they provided.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Great in the dry and in the wet. You give up too much traction in this car going with an all-season. It’s one thing if you live in a climate that requires it, but in Houston, I’d look no further than the PS4S. Granted, you won’t get 45k miles out of them, but IMHO a 45k tire is a major compromise on this car.
I second this. I had PS4 on my STI and they were night and day better than the stock Dunlops. The car somehow became smoother and quieter yet handling was much more stable. Its hard to describe, they just have a fantastic "feel".

I recently replaced the stock Conti's on my wife's 370Z roadster and got the 4S. Again, I just love them!

Whenever I decide to replace the stock CTR tires I will only consider the Michelin PS4S. I think they are worth every penny.

I just picked up a set of PS4S from tire rack. free shipping / no tax and 2 year road hazard. I was trying discount tire, but added up to 1600 compared to 1267 from tire rack.

FYI, I ended up going with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06, 245/35R20. 255/35R20 fits fine, but the 245s were cheaper and actually like the way they look more than the 255s. So far I really like them. After a few days of driving they have become stickier and more planted. The steering feel is definitely smoother and I am much more confident going over bumps than before.

nice man! I'm sure it fills up the wheel arches a lot better too. Does the MPH reading still the same going to a taller tire?

I doubt it's accurate but the difference is minimal imo

Thanks for this post. I'm debating either buying a set of 18" wheels or just going with 35 series tires.

The cost effective option would probably just be buying 35 series tires. The 18" wheels I'm looking at would be around $1700-$1900..would take a few sets of tires to negate that cost...I dont want to sell the OEM wheels either.

I put this in a calculator and its only off 3 mph at 80 mph. Indicated 80 when actually going 83. If anything, it'll help keep those miles "off" your car ;)

Has anyone replaced their stock CTR rim with Ventus V12 evo2? I don't plan on tracking my car. My bro had them on his s2k and said they were good for daily driving.

They’re decently priced for what they are. Be careful, the sidewalls are really soft.
