From January 11, 2016-January 16, 2016 TEIN will be taking my car to fabricate and test suspension upgrades, springs, coils. Not sure if any other 10th Gens applied as well, but as soon as I get all the information I'll update everyone on the results and pics with everything installed. Hopefully after pre-fabrication and testing, a solid set will be available for everyone on the forums to take advantage of so we can see some clean suspension and wheel combos for our rides.

Awesome news, TEIN makes great suspension and I'm definitely interested in seeing what they come out with. Congrats on being the test bed car and please keep us updated on the whole process.

Thanks for sharing. Will they be making both springs and coilovers? What other plans you have for your car after suspension.

My favorite keychain ever is by TEIN :)

Not sure yet, I know they will be testing the prefabricated coilovers, but I will get more insight when I sit down with them when I drop off the car. I'm sure they will have both options available to compete with other vendors. I know H&R is already making a spring set, so I doubt that TEIN wouldn't do the same as well.

So far after suspension, looking into some decent wheels to go with the fitment. Thinking 18x9 front and 18x9.5 rear. Just not sure on what to go with.

I will also be sending the car in for some paint detail (clear bra, trim accent painted, gloss black rooftop, and black deck lid spoiler.

Also looking into a new exhaust set up, but I'm waiting for my buddy that has a shop because he wants to start prefabricating a decent lip and rear diffuser protypes with either a dual exhaust or quad exhaust output capabilities. Still trying to mock up some ideas from this point but that's all what's gonna be happening within the next 2-3 months.

18" wheels is a good size for the car based on what other members have posted.

Sounds like your car's gonna be at the center of a lot of aftermarket development so keep us updated.

Hey cjar17!, you here from cali too then?
I'm thinking of doing the testing for tein as well but I only have 1 car, also the rep told me they will be giving the springs for free after testing and giving the coilovers 50% off when testing is finished, labor is free you just got to make the decision on which route to go, what city you in cjar??

Can't wait and glad TEIN was able to find at least one car. Being in CA helps im sure. There are others like Mishimoto that seem to be having a harder time due to their facility location.

So we can expect to see a product make it to market by early Spring next year hopefully?

Would also like to know how much of a drop our car will have on their springs.

That sucks. I'm dying for a set of coilovers. I figured we would have had something out from someone by now.
