Anyone upgrade rear pillar speakers in ST Hatchback?

Those may work, but the design of the Kicker's are closer to stock. The Infinity is also a little weaker.

Do you have any updates on the rears? Or and pics of the rear pillar open?
I pulled the panel off from the c pillar and removed the speaker from it today. I'd purchased a set of Kicker CS-C35 to replace the stock. When I started to line up the Kicker to the panel, I'd realized the speaker is too deep and won't fit. The stock speaker is so thin. It's like a pancake. I'm afraid there are no aftermarket speakers that will fir that location.

Do you know if it’s the same speaker that is in the center? I managed to put on if these alpine 4” S line’s by cutting off two little flanges that stuck out basically making it flat to mount the speaker with a bracket. Again this was the center channel.

It' not the same. The center is twice as thick as the c pillar.
