Its still a daily event in my ride.

I am seriously considering splurging for a DSP, but I really don't like having to spend a lot of $$$ to get something that should have been in the car from factory.

I will use a dsp, just HATE having to buy something like the fix 82 to undo their nonsense

The amp is 500w "peak" probably for 10 milliseconds with 10% distortion.

In reality its probably like 22w x 6 + maybe 50 watts for the sub RMS.

On the bright side all car manufacturers advertise this way.

This doesn't work on sport touring either, in case anyone was wondering if they were different from sedan touring, it's the same.

Can you post a link to the xda forum thread where it explains how to make the dsp flat permanent upon every time you start the car?
I've been reading through the conversations and so can't find what you are referring to.

Or even the Title name of the xda forum thread?

Thanks a bunch!

I've found this, but you have to run the app every time you start the car.

Lots to do to get the app on the car and then having to run it every time - still seems easier to not hack the head unit and activate the DSP Flat via the hidden menu.
Pretty sad that we have to pay for a proper DSP to get around this issue - why would a manufacturer be so restrictive, its almost as if Honda WANTS people to modify their cars.
