The overall aethetic design of the rear end... culminating with the fake vents... at least on my Si.

You know it's love... because it sure isn't lust.

Only minor complaint I have with my Si is the lack of HVAC controls. I don't mind using the screen, but the delay is a bit irritating at times. I'd definitely prefer a knob or hard buttons to adjust the fan speed (really, the only thing I want to adjust quickly), though I'm not going to give up dual climate control just to get a fan speed. It's not a deal breaker (obviously, I bought the car), but is honestly the only thing I've noticed so far that I would like to see changed.

In response to the OP. I am not sure what radio the hatchback has but the EX-T head unit is basically command center for everything, all settings for the instrument cluster, many vehicle settings, door lock window features walk-away lock and so on. just menu after menu setting, service miner reset, HVAC control, changing the display of the instrument cluster.
Basically swapping it out for a double din radio would disable a slew of features and settings.

Sedan models have spare tire, but I feel your pain if the SI did not come with one.

Adding 2 more to the dislike list
1)EX-T trim center armrest fabric is like sand paper, works well if you want to exfoliate your forearm. Had to order aftermarket leather covers from ebay. Must have a pneumatic stapler for a DIY project.
2) stock headlamps = junk
4300K quality HID works well in the stock headlamp projector.

Touring trim nitpicks:

- Cheap buttons on steering wheel. They click so loud!
- Rain sensing wipers behave like idiots from time to time, and there's no intermittent setting :(
- No blind spot detection of any sort on the left (driver) side
- No back-up radar
- Lack of adjustable lumbar support
- Lack of seating memory

A lot of these nitpicks stem from my unrealistic expectations from an economy sedan :rofl: If I had to choose only one, I'd say the steering wheel buttons. It breaks off what otherwise a luxury/near-luxury feel of the car's interior.

I find it interesting that some find the steering wheel buttons to be of low quality. I personally really like the look and feel of the buttons. Compared to the buttons on the 2014 Accord, which felt spongy and wore off quickly, these have a nice tactile feel and clean look to me.

New here. We've had our Touring sedan for a couple months/1100 miles. I continue to be impressed with how much car there is for the money. I miss a couple features our other upmarket car and suv have, but the Civic has some neat features they don't.
So, my gripe list is short, and some mentioned in above posts.
-Cup holders. Even with the CVT, too far back to comfortably reach.
-Infotainment is a little slow to react, digital "buttons" sometime take a couple jabs.
-Lack of lumbar support. Wouldn't need to be powered. Manual would be fine.

Again, this is a tremendous car for the money. We traded in a 2013 MINI that cost $6000 more, and less of a car. Love the handling and the 1.5 turbo.

No volume knob (no big deal for me as a driver, but when my wife tries to adjust the volume, it's stupidly awkward);
Fancy head unit needs a major UI overhaul;
Hatch mid-spoiler blocks light from reaching the auto-dimming mirror's sensors;
And, yes, I'd like a lumbar support adjustment. My EP3's backrest was flatter, which supported me better than the bowl shape of the FK7 Sport Touring's seats.

The wheezing, whine noise the climate control makes.

Rain sensing windshield wipers. I HATE THEM! Living the pacific northwest, which is just a temperate rainforest that rains 13 months out of the year, this "feature" is extremely aggravating.

I’ve only had mine a week, but besides the obvious no volume knob I HATE that when I hit the button to shut the engine off the whole car shuts off. Every other car I’ve had allows you to listen to the radio until you open the door. Definitely is taking some getting used to.
Put your car in N instead of P and pull the ebrake. Then kill the engine by pressing the button and calmly finish listening to that Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74. Then impassively push the lever to P when you're done and the radio turns off.

No Camera on the left turn. Why just the right???
Because they don't want you to look to the right (at the display) when you are turning left.
It's like in that car insurance TV commercial: "They don't want you to drive on three wheels. Smart."

In general I love my 2018 Sport HB MT . Everyday I get in it I just enjoy driving but the one thing nagging the hell out of me is it's completely worthless stock radio (I could not get upgrade head unit because in the USA a Sport HB with manual only comes with the bare minimum). Took it into the dealer yesterday and they just confirmed what I suspected was the case - it is a functional nightmare - nothing can be done. I even offered to pay for the upgraded unit. Their response was "Can't be done". Looked at aftermarket head units and consulted with some experts - no adaptor harness and most likely some integrated functionality will be lost (e.g. camera, etc)

So just for fun I thought I would ask - Whats YOUR biggest beef?
Try Crutchfield they have complete setups ie works with steering wheel audio controls.
