Got the Remus with sound controller. IMO if you're in the market for one of these and are not planning to add an aftermarket FP/DP yet there's absolutely no reason to opt for the sound controller right away. I drive with it open almost all the time and there's no drone whatsoever and has a nice bark over the stock exhaust. This exhaust sounds amazing and I am sure with FP/DP it's even more so. Just wanted to give my experience if you wanted to get this now and didn't want to put out for everything at once the sound controller is definitely something to easily get and install later down the road.
Love mine too. Very good quality sound

Thanks for the heads up. I just purchased the Remus and was debating on the sound controller since I was worried it would be too loud.

P2R Downpipe back. It sounds great. At 34, was finally ready for an exhaust that I could enjoy, yet fell comfortable with driving daily. Every car I've owned has been stupid loud including my 9th gen I traded in for my fk8. Their downpipe is absolutely beautiful, 4-3 in. Exhaust is deep but overall quiet. Compared to everything else on the market and what I've heard from milltek to greddy to thermal (and I love thermal exhaust) you can't beat the performance and tone from P2R. Shaun is one of the coolest guys I've ever ordered parts from and literally was texting me to find out when I was getting everything installed. He answered the phone when my guys had questions installing it. he even got me the O2 sensor overnight because I forgot to get it originally and he sent it to the shop. Even if there are parts you like more out there, customer service goes a long way with me and P2R delivers that along with quality!

Like the title says, I'm selling my aFe and I'm looking for an exhaust with very little to no drone, but still good sound.

Please list what exhaust you have, (and any other exhaust mods like downpipe or mid pipe) and your experience with it.

- Does it sound good?
- Does it drone in the cabin?
- Does the inside of your car vibrate after the install of exhaust? Can you feel the vibes in your seat?

Thanks guys. Trying to make the best decision I can so all the information helps!
Remus with the bluetooth electronic valve.

I love how it sounds, and there's endless settings so it can be set to your liking, but wide open is heavenly.
No drone that I have noticed and I've had it about a month.
Don't feel any vibrations with the stock rubber exhaust hangers.

I just purchased the remus, but decided to wait on the BT sound controller. Do you usually drive with it wide open?

My guess would be the vibration is coming through the hanger that is right below the seats...the hanger that holds the mid section of the exhaust.

I feel some slight vibration now...only because I have milltek and had to put a rubber peice where the milltek hanger meets the factory hanger (design flaw they have that touches medal to medal at times and can make a rattle..resolved it by jamming rubber in between). What kind of exhaust do you have?

GRP. Gonna go back and check all the hangers and bolts again. Might have missed something.

Thanks!
